Adene & Mark’s Queenstown Heli Wedding
Adene and Mark’s Queenstown elopement was the perfect mix of adventure and heartfelt moments. The day started with a quiet first look at their Airbnb overlooking Lake Hayes, before wandering through the historic stone ruins of Thurlby Domain in Arrowtown. After a few relaxed portraits by the lake, we lifted off with Heliworks Queenstown and flew to Big Geordie on Mount Crichton, a stunning alpine spot with wide views of Lake Wakatipu, the Southern Alps, and Glenorchy.
As the sun set, they exchanged vows in an incredibly heartfelt ceremony led by celebrant Emily Flemming. (There wasn’t a dry eye on the mountain). Orange Blossom Florist created beautiful, Autumnal florals that felt right at home in the rugged landscape. After the ceremony, Mark unleashed an epic champagne pop with some Central Otago bubbles and took a moment to soak it all in - just the two of them, unbelievably hazy golden light, and the mountains all around.
I shot both photos and video for their elopement and I’m stoked with how it all came together!
